Day 1 | Munich - Berchtesgaden

Welcome! Departure from Munich, capital of Bavaria to Berchtesgaden, a typical village of the Alps at the foot of the Watzmann mountain. This village is known for its salt mines and the nearby “Königssee” (King’s lake), which is famous for having the most crystal clear water in Germany. Enjoy the scenic environment, and if the time allows you can take a boat trip on the lake (not included).

Day 2 | Berchtesgaden - Füssen

In the morning visit the Salzbergwerk mine, then travel along the sub-alpine road until you reach Füssen, a village at the foot of the Alps. On the way there, stop at Lake Chiemsee, the "Bavarian Sea,“ and climb by cable car to the Kampenwand (1,500 m) and admire the sensational view. Afterwards, continue on to the city of Füssen and spend the evening as you please.

Day 3 | Füssen - Neunschwanstein - Rothenburg ob der Taube

This day starts with a visit to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, an impressive structure straight out of fairytales. It was built by the “Mad King” Louis II and served as Walt Disney's inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle! This iconic castle is sure to impress. Then continue the trip to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the most important and memorable medieval cities in Germany. 

Day 4 | Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Würzburg

After breakfast, explore the Rothenburg ob der Tauber, and find yourself enchanted by its unique environment. A walk through this city is like a trip through past centuries; its image has not changed since the Middle Ages. With its exceptionally well-preserved half-timbered houses, its historic town hall, it sports a silhouette like no other, surrounded by its impressive medieval outer wall. Afterwards, travel to Würzburg, a beautiful city on the banks of the Main River. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city and a visit to the Residence of Würzburg. 

Day 5 | Würzburg - Bamberg - Nuremberg

Today the trip continues, leaving Würzburg behind and moving to Nuremberg. Along the way the way you will stop in Bamberg, located in the north of Bavaria, and famous for its beer and its old town center (UNESCO). A perfect stop! Then, upon arrival in Nuremberg explore the city. With its old town, famous Gothic churches, heritage sites and its impressive and well-preserved castle, you are sure to be enraptured. Overnight here, and prepare for the last leg of your tour. 

Day 6| Nuremberg - Munich

In the morning, travel to Munich, the famous Bavarian capital, and enjoy a panoramic tour of the city and its main attractions such as the "Marienplatz“ square, Munich's geographical and social center. Then transfer to the airport.
