Day 01, Wednesday: Arrive in Ireland. After clearing customs, your professional driver guide will be waiting for you in the arrival’s hall. It’s a leisurely start to your day as you make your way west towards Roscommon. There are many stopping options on the way to your castle hotel. Your route can easily take you through Ireland’s Ancient East, which is a genuine display of 5,000 years of history and heritage. Your route can easily plan for a stop at Brú na Bóinne, where you will find the passage tombs of Newgrange, Knowth, and Dowth. Continue-on via Kells and other small towns along the way as you make your way to your castle hotel, Kilronan Castle. Here you will enjoy dinner this evening. Overnight at Kilronan Castle. (D)
Day 02, Thursday: Roscommon – Sligo – Ballina – Castlebar – Roscommon. It’s a scenic adventure today as your driver heads to beautiful Sligo. Sligo, known for its literary heritage and rugged countryside, has much to offer. There is plenty of shopping, sightseeing, and activities that can be enjoyed here. Beyond Sligo, perhaps a trip to the award-winning heritage center of Céide Fields. This remarkable Neolithic site contains the oldest known stone-walled fields in the world, dating back nearly 6,000 years. Perhaps lunch in the lovely town of Castlebar before making your way back to your castle hotel. Dinner is included at your hotel this evening. Overnight at Kilronan Castle. (B,D)
Day 03, Friday: Roscommon – Cliffs of Moher – Adare – Killarney. A spectacular day today as you head out and continue south to County Clare’s iconic Cliffs of Moher. These breathtaking scenic cliffs offer spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, as they rise above the sea over 700ft. Continue-on via Adare (or choose to go the ferry route at Killimer) as you make your way to the charming town of Killarney. Check-in to your hotel. This evening enjoy dinner at your hotel before heading out to the many pubs and music venues Killarney has to offer. (B,D)
Day 04, Saturday: Killarney – Dingle Peninsula Tour. Today is another fabulous day as your driver takes you on one of the most scenic drives, the Dingle Peninsula, which offers magnificent coastal scenery. (Note, this day is flexible, and you may choose an alternative route, such as the Ring of Kerry). Return to Killarney for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 05, Sunday: Killarney – Waterford. Today you will make your way from Killarney to Waterford. There is much to see along this route. Perhaps you can stop in Blarney, where you can opt to kiss the famed stone. This route is dotted with coastal towns that offer some of the freshest seafood you will find anywhere. Perhaps consider a stop in Kinsale or Cobh to enjoy a bite. Making your way to Waterford, check into your hotel. Tonight, dinner is on your own. Overnight Waterford. (B)
Day 06, Monday: Waterford – Dublin. A leisurely departure from Waterford. Perhaps before departing, enjoy some of the fascinating Viking history this small city has to offer. With its very own Viking Triangle, Waterford brings this era to life. Departure Waterford and make your way to Dublin. Arriving in Dublin in the early afternoon, where it is time to bid farewell to your driver-guide. Plenty of time today to start exploring the city. We have included a Do Dublin Bus Pass as well as the Dublin Pass, which allows you to explore the city and take in the sites throughout! Dinner is on your own this evening. (B)
Day 07, Tuesday: Dublin. You can continue to use your Dublin Pass today – as a 2-day pass has been included. The Dublin Pass gets you free and fast track entry into the most popular sights in Dublin. Be sure and check out Vaults Live, where you will see Irish legends unfold before your eyes, and EPIC (The Irish Emigration Museum), where you will learn about Irish culture, people, and all the contributions of the Irish people. After a full day of enjoying the city, perhaps enjoy one of the many fine restaurants Dublin has to offer. Overnight in Dublin. (B)
Day 08, Wednesday: Dublin – U.S. This morning a private transfer is arranged to take you to the airport for your return flight home. Bidding farewell to Ireland with a promise to return. (B)
