About the Ship

Itinerary

Day 1, Saturday: Arrive Prague

You will be met and transferred to your hotel. There's time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and Tour Director for a Welcome Dinner. (D)

Day 2, Sunday: In Prague

Built on seven hills and both banks of the Vltava River, Prague is one of the most alluring cities in Europe. Your city tour starts with a panoramic drive to see famous Wenceslas Square, Strahov Stadium, and Castle Square. On a walking tour, visit the Royal Castle of Hradcany with the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica, and the Golden Lane with the Daliborka Tower. Cross the Charles Bridge and walk through the old quarter of Prague, viewing the Jewish Ghetto, the Town Hall, and the world-famous Astronomical Clock. The rest of the day is free. (B)

Day 3, Monday: To Vienna

Head to Vienna, the "City of Waltz." Your time is free to begin exploring Austria's lovely capital. (B)

Day 4, Tuesday: In Vienna

On a morning sightseeing tour, visit Hofburg Palace, once the center of the Habsburg monarchy, see Belvedere Palace, Prater Amusement Park, the UN buildings, St. Stephen's Cathedral, and other remnants of the city's imperial history. The afternoon is at leisure. Tonight, gather for a dinner in a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 5, Wednesday: To Budapest

Today, journey to Budapest. The afternoon is free to explore the "Paris of the East," shop along the Vaci Utca, nibble a delicious slice of Dobosz cake, or sip an excellent Hungarian wine. (B)

Day 6, Thursday: In Budapest

In 1873, the twin cities of Buda and Pest joined with ancient Obuda to form a new, unified city, Budapest. Charming and beautiful, the city was declared a World Heritage site in 1987. Your morning sightseeing tour includes views of all the main attractions: The Parliament, Royal Palace and the Castle Hill area, Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church, Heroes' Square, and Gellert Hill with its Citadel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this exciting city on your own. Tonight, enjoy dinner with entertainment in a typical Csarda restaurant. (B,D)

Day 7, Friday: To Zagreb

Journey along the banks of the Lake Balaton and cross the border to continue to Zagreb. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Croatian capital will take you through the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark's Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and the Government Palace. Dinner in your hotel. (B,D)

Day 8, Saturday: Zagreb - Plitvice Lakes - Split

Head south for a visit to magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by forested mountains and lush vegetation. A walking tour takes you around several of the lower lakes. On to Split and the port to embark on you boat. Later, gather with your fellow "sailors" for a Welcome Reception on board followed by dinner. (B,D)

Day 9, Sunday: Split - Bol - Stari Grad

Morning guided walking tour of Split shows us the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Set sail towards Bol, a small town on Island Brac, for a swim at the Golden Horn. Enjoy the 1740-foot-long golden pebble beach, said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Afterwards, head to Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet set. The "Croatian Madeira" is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. Spend the evening and night at Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe. (B,L)

Day 10, Monday: Stari Grad - Hvar - Vis

Quick sail towards town of Hvar for a sightseeing tour featuring the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare's theatre in the UK), the Franciscan Monastery, and many more historical sights. Cruise towards the Island of Vis. The town of Vis, the antique Issa, was founded around 397 B.C. Our tour of Vis features the town's waterfront. Evening at leisure. (B,L)

Day 11, Tuesday: Vis - Vela Luka

After breakfast, set sail for Korcula Island, thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Our port of call for the day is Vela Luke (the "big harbor") town, dating back to pre-historic times. After lunch onboard, disembark in Vela Luka and depart for an afternoon "Korcula Island tour," featuring the visit of the olive oil factory, Borilo ethno museum, and local winery to taste some local wine and cheese. Return to your ship for evening at leisure. (B,L)

Day 12, Wednesday: Vela Luka - Korcula

There will be some time for swimming before we continue cruise, heading for Korcula town. Take a walking tour through its narrow, cobbled streets and visit the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. Your evening is free to discover the town and enjoy dinner on your own at one many local restaurants. (B,L)

Day 13, Thursday: Korcula - Mljet

Today we set sail for Mljet Island. Mljet National Park encompasses five types of forest, many species of birds, and two deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). This lovely island was supposedly a favorite holiday spot for the Greek hero Ulysses! Captain's dinner with live entertainment aboard our ship tonight. (B,L,D)

Day 14, Friday: Mljet - Dubrovnik

In the morning, set sail to Dubrovnik, so called "Pearl of the Adriatic," a UNESCO World Heritage site. While in Dubrovnik, take a walking tour of the old town and visit the Rector's Palace and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. Remainder of the day is free; perhaps discover this lovely city on own. (B,L)

Day 15, Saturday: Depart Dubrovnik

Disembark after breakfast. You will be transferred to Dubrovnik airport or your hotel. (B)

Pricing

Your tour land price is per person based on two (2) people sharing a twin or double room. When a single room is booked, a single supplement will apply. Triple rooms on request, as there is limited availability.

Airfare

Airfare is additional. Once you select your date, you will be given the opportunity to search our system for the best available airfare from your home city. The dates shown will be the start/end date of your tour. However, you can alter these dates to arrive earlier or extend your stay as needed.

Our system will search for the best possible airfare during your booking process. Note: airfare cannot be booked sooner than eleven (11) months from the date of departure.

Departures & Transfers

Tour date is the date the touring begins in Prague. Air should be booked one day prior for an overnight flight.

Arrival transfers are included. If a pre-night is booked independently prior to touring, then the transfer is not included, and client must make their own way to the hotel in Prague. The departure transfer is included at the end of the cruise to the airport.
