Itinerary

Day 1 | Hamburg

Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The tour begins with a panoramic city tour. The city is internationally known for its elegants boulevards, the port, which is the second largest in Europe and the famous neighborhood of St. Pauli. (B)

Day 2 | Hamburg

Today you will have the whole day to explore Hamburg. You will take a boat tour through the harbor, which is the second largest in Europe. Also very famous in Hamburg are the City Warehouse, the Kunsthalle and the Elbe Philharmonic, an internationally renowned concert hall. Be sure to visit the fish market, where you can find fresh fish and seafood, and exotic fruits from all over the world.

Day 3 | Hamburg - Bremen - Hamburg

Today you are going to visit the hanseatic city of Bremen, which is the cradle of the fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm "The Bremen Town Musicians". The old town of the city offers many attractions such as the Cathedral, the "Böttcherstrasse" street as well as the market square. The statue of Roland has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Another interesting place to visit is the neighborhood of Schnoor, the oldest area of Bremen. In the afternoon we travel back to Hamburg. (B)

Day 4 | Hamburg - Lübeck - Schwerin

After breakfast travel to Lübeck that has more than 1000 years of history. Lübeck was once one of the most important centers of the Hanseatic League and one of the richest cities in the Middle Ages. Its old town is surronded by water and was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. Monuments like the Holstentor (Holsten Gate) standing at the entrance of the old town is a symbol and stands for the beautiful image of the city. In the afternoon continue to Schwerin, a city that is characterized for its richness in water and forests, abundance of cultural treasures and a fascinating intact old town. (B)

Day 5 | Schwerin - Wismar - Schwerin

In the morning visit the wonderful Schwerin Castle, located on an island in the center of town. Afterwards continue to Wismar, situated on the shores of the Baltic Sea. It is famous for its port, historical monuments with the typical red-brick gothic style and the great hospitality of its locals. Return to Schwerin.(B)

Day 6 | Schwerin - Rostock- Stralsund

Rostock, a Hanseatic city for more than 800 years that still preserves its ancient charm. Today it offers multiple cultural aspects along with the seaside resort of Warnemünde. The architecture of the city highlights the historical houses showing facades from different periods: gothic, renaissance and baroque. Afterwards continue to Stralsund.(B)

Day 7 | Berlin

Travel to Berlin, 250km south of Stralsund. Get to know Berlin's main attractions like the "Kurfürstendamm, the Brandenburg Gate and Postdam square in a sightseeing tour of the city.(B)

Day 8 | Berlin

Transfer to the airport.

Your tour land price is per person based on two (2) people sharing a twin or double room. When a single room is booked, a single supplement will apply. Note. the price noted is for when 2 people are traveling. The price will DECREASE with additional passengers booked in double/triple rooms.

Departures & Transfers

Tour date is the date the tour starts in Germany. Please book your airfare accordingly (to allow for overnight flights). If you arrive prior to the tour or stay longer, transfers will not be included when not on arrival and departure dates and must be purchased separately. Additional hotel nights in Hamburg or Berlin can be booked as needed.

Please note, this tour offers guaranteed daily dates. Hotels are subject to availability at time of request. This tour is designed for 2-6 passengers.
