Day 01, Sunday: U.S. - Frankfurt
Depart U.S. for your overnight flight to Frankfurt, Germany. Dinner will be served on board. Tours purchased on a land only basis begin on day 02.
Day 02, Monday: Arrive Frankfurt
Arrival at Frankfurt airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend at leisure. Frankfurt is the financial and commercial heart of Germany, a city full of fascinating contrasts between modern development and historic landmarks. This is an independent day without a guide. Overnight in Frankfurt at the Hotel Movenpick Frankfurt City Hotel.
Day 03, Tuesday: Frankfurt - Rüdesheim - St. Goar - Cologne
In the morning we travel to Rüdesheim with a short tour of the city‘s historic center. Next we board a boat and sail along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine: the Lorelei valley. We disembark in St. Goar and travel to Cologne for overnight at the Hotel Maritim.
Day 04, Wednesday: Cologne - Hamburg
After breakfast we depart for Hamburg. Upon arrival we enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city. The city is internationally known for its elegant boulevards, the port, which is the second largest in Europe, and the famous neighborhood of St. Pauli. Overnight in Hamburg at the Hotel Novotel Hamburg Alster.
Day 05, Thursday: Hamburg - Berlin
In the morning you have time to relax or explore the city. In the afternoon we travel to Berlin. Overnight in Berlin at the Hotel Maritim ProArte.
Day 06, Friday: Berlin
In the morning we start the day with a visit of the TV Tower. After visit of the capital‘s historic highlights, such as “Unter den Linden“ boulevard, remnants of the wall and the Brandenburg Gate. We will also explore the more modern parts of the city, including the German parliament and Potsdam Square. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. Overnight in Berlin.
Day 07, Saturday: Berlin - Potsdam - Erfurt
After breakfast we travel to Potsdam where we visit the Sanssouci palace and park. In the afternoon we continue to Erfurt, also known as “Thuringian Rome” because of its architectural beauty. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city and visit the largest wooden bridge in Europe. Overnight at the Mercure Hotel Erfurt.
Day 08, Sunday: Erfurt - Frankfurt
In the morning you are free to explore at your leisure. As an alternative you may also visit the Wartburg (not included). In the afternoon transfer to Frankfurt, the financial and commercial heart of Germany, a city full of fascinating contrasts between modern development and historic landmarks. At 7:00 pm dinner with the rest of the group. Overnight in Frankfurt at the Movenpick Frankfurt City.
Day 09, Monday: Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Black Forest
In the morning we travel from Frankfurt to Heidelberg. Visit the famous castle ascending with the cable car and enjoy a sightseeing tour of its historic city center. Idyllically located on the shores of the Neckar River, Heidelberg is Germany's oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country. We continue to the famous Black Forest region. This night we will have an authentic experience: Enjoy a typical Black Forest dinner and overnight in a romantically located hotel. If you like to have a little walk to the beautiful Ravenna Gorge or see the region's oldest chapel, both are next to the hotel. Accommodation at the Best Western Hotel Hofgut Sternen.
Day 10, Tuesday: Black Forest - Lake Titisee - Lindau - Füssen
After breakfast we enjoy a short presentation on the cuckoo clock production. We continue to a small traditional Black Forest farm where we will have a cheese tasting and you will see the true life of the Black Forest. After we will travel to Lake Titisee, nestled in the legendary Black Forest. We continue the tour to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance, which boasts spectacular views of the Alps. Depending on weather conditions we will take the Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt to our final destination Füssen, the southernmost point on our tour. Accommodation at the Hotel Hirsch.
Day 11, Wednesday: Neuschwanstein - Wieskirche - Oberammergau - Linderhof - Innsbruck
We begin the day with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious “Mad King“. In the midday we travel to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play and lovely crafts. Along the way we visit the Wieskirche Church before continuing the tour to visit Linderhof Castle. This is one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one where the king actually lived for a significant amount of time. After a brief stop at the Ettal Benedictine Abbey. Today‘s final destination is Innsbruck. Overnight at the Hotel Grauer Bar.
Day 12, Thursday: Innsbruck - Munich
In the morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Innsbruck, Austria, located in the Inn valley, in the heart of the Alps. In the afternoon we travel to Munich for overnight. Accommodation at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre.
Day 13, Friday: Munich
After breakfast we visit the city's main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower. The capital of Bavaria state, Munich, is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. In the evening we enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner. Overnight in Munich.
Day 14, Saturday: Munich - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Frankfurt
After breakfast we travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town concluding with a Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting, a pastry considered the signature dish of Rothenburg. Next we travel to Frankfurt. The program ends at Frankfurt Airport, around 6:00 pm. Overnight at the Hotel Hilton Frankfurt Airport.
Day 15, Sunday: Frankfurt - U.S.
After breakfast, make your way to the airport for your return flight home.

Your tour land price is per person based on two (2) people sharing a twin or double room. When a single room is booked, a single supplement will apply.
Post night hotel is at the Hilton Hotel Frankfurt Airport, which offers shuttle service to/from the airport for a small fee. A city center hotel can be arranged, however, the city center hotel does not offer the same low cost shuttle service to the airport and a taxi would be required. Alternate hotels may incur supplements.
