Itinerary

Adventure Tour of ScotlandDay 1
We assume arrival at Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport in the early afternoon. Pick up your hire car at the airport terminal and begin your journey through Scotland.
Overnight in Perthshire.

Day 2
Today, you will do a spot of Canyoning! Following a natural water course down a hillside of a private estate, providing a great adventure experience! It is fully supervised by experienced instructors and all specialist equipment is provided. During the descent you will scramble down gorges, slide on natural water flumes, and jump into deep, clear rock pools. Some sections will involve the use of harnesses and rope lowers on waterfalls.
In the afternoon, you may choose to relax at the Kenmore Inn or visit one of the many attractions in the area, such as the Scottish Crannog Centre or Aberfeldy Distillery.
Overnight in Perthshire.

Kayaking in Scotland on an Adventure Tour of ScotlandDay 3
This morning continue your journey north, heading to the Cairgorm National Park. At the foot of this impressive mountain range you will find Loch Morlich where you will do a kayaking tour on the loch, taking in this wonderful scenery.
Afterwards you can take the 8 minute ride on the Cairngorm Funicular, the country's highest and fastest mountain railway. Once at the top, enjoy the spectacular panoramic views.
Overnight Cairngorms/ Aviemore area

Day 4
Depart from the Cairngorm National Park and head towards Inverness. Park the car at Tomnahurich Bridge on the Caledonian Canal in Inverness, to board the Jacobite Queen vessel for the Jacobite Reflection Cruise. This is a three hour cruise sailing along the canal into Loch Ness and past the ruins of Urqhart castle. Watch out for the famous Loch Ness monster! Departure time for this cruise would be 10.00am or 2 pm.
Return back at Tomnahurich Bridge and on to the hotel in the Inverness/ Loch Ness area.

Day 5
This morning travel on the A831 to Cannich. At Cannich turn off on the Glen Affric road (single track with passing places). You will pass the car park for the ‘Dog Falls Walk' before reaching the Loch Affric Car Park, where you will leave the car to begin the Loch Affric Circular, (round trip 16km, approx time required for the walk is 5.5hr).
Return to previous night hotel.

Glencoe Scotland HikingDay 6
Head from the Loch Ness area today towards Fort William and on to Glen Coe. This is an eerie location is the site of the tragic massacre of the clan MacDonald in 1692. The beautiful scenery can be enjoyed by doing some shorter walks. The NTS visitor centre here is also worth a visit.m Travel through Crianlarich on to Loch Lomond, spend some time in the conservation village of Luss.
On to Loch Lomond/ Trossachs area for overnight.

Loch Lomond Hiking in ScotlandDay 7
Loch Lomond offers great hiking opportunities. Today you can choose one of the popular routes: Conic Hill (grade 2 for difficulty) or Ben Lomond (more challenging).
Moderate - This walk will take in Ben Lomond which is 974metres and a distance of 11km. The walking time is 4-6 hours.
The walk will take you up over the Tarmigan Ridge and down a stunning tourist path. The views over from Ben Lomond are spectacular and allow you to see over Loch Lomond and the Southern Highlands. Ben Lomond is one of Scotland's Munros. A Munro is an old Scottish measurement for any hill which is over 3000ft.
Easy - This walk will take in the Conic Hill which is 358 metres and a distance of 10.5 km. The walking time is 4 hours. The scenery is stunning and you will be able to see the bottom end of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond.
Overnight as previous night.

Day 8
This morning drive to the airport where you will return the hire car and flight home.
