Day 01: U.S. - Rome:
Depart
the U.S. on overnight fl ight to Italy! Dinner is served on board.
Day 02: Rome. Morning arrival into
Italy. We are met by our tour escort at the airport and transferred to our hotel
in Rome, where we have free time to rest. Free time to enjoy lunch in Rome and
start exploring. This evening we meet our Tour Director. Tonight we enjoy a
special welcome dinner. Overnight in Rome at the Pace
Helvezia Hotel*
Day 03: Rome. After breakfast at the hotel, our morning
sightseeing starts with a visit to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. We
will view the world famous Michelangelo's ceiling paintings and The Last
Judgement. Continue to monumental St. Peter's Square and Basilica. In the
afternoon enjoy a walking guided tour of the Roman Squares, including Trevi
Fountain, Navona Square, the Roman Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps. Dinner and
overnight in Rome.
Day 04: Rome - Assisi -
Florence.
After breakfast at the hotel we will travel north to the Tuscany Region.
Stopping en- route we enjoy a guided morning visit to Assisi, the mystic town of
Saint Francis that is still surrounded by ancient walls. The inspirational
Basilica of St. Francis is renowned for its fresco paintings. After the visit we
will be transferred to our Tuscan Villa, where we will enjoy a -night stay. This
evening we will have a “Tuscan Feast.” Buon Appetito! Overnight at the Villa, the
Villa Casagrande*. 
Day 05: Florence. After breakfast, we are
transferred to Florence for a walking tour with our tour escort and local
guidefor a half-day guided tour. We head for the Duomo, the city's geographical
and historical focus, ideally placed to explore the Campanile and Bapistry. To
the south is Piazza della Signoria, long the city's political heart, fl anked by
the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence's town hall. Visit the Accademia (reservation and
entrance fees included) to see the famous statue of “David.” Lunch is on on our
own this afternoon. Afternoon free to discover the beauties of the city on your
own. Stroll down cobblestone lanes, through majestic squares and across ancient
bridges. You might like to do a little leather, gold or clothing shopping near
Ponte Vecchio. Dinner at the Villa upon our return.
Day 06: Turin. After breakfast at the
Villa we depart for Turin. Arrival late in the afternoon in Turin. Accommodation
at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Turin - Best
Western Hotel Crimea*.
Day 07: Turin. Breakfast at our hotel. A full
day guided tour of the city. During our sightseeing with a local guide admire
the 548-feet-high Mole Antonelliana, Symbol of Turin, and the Lingotto Fiera,
the former Fiat factory that was transformed into an impressive multi-function
center by architect Renzo Piano. Next, walk through the historic center and
visit the Holy Shroud Museum and Cathedral. Then visit the cemetery at Monastero
di Lanzo. Festive farewell dinner with drinks. Overnight in Turin.
Day 08: Turin - U.S.
After
breakfast transfer to the Airport. Depart from Italy having a deeper connect to
Italian culture and traditions.
