Day 01, Friday:
U.S. to Ireland.
Depart U.S. for overnight flight to
Ireland.
Dinner is served shortly after take-off.
 Day 02, Saturday: Dublin. Early
morning arrival at Dublin
Airport where we are met
by our Celtic Tours driver/guide after clearing customs. Transfer by deluxe
motorcoach to our Dublin hotel. Time to
rest & relax. Afternoon departure for a visit to the Guinness Brewery plus a
panoramic view of Dublin. Dinner and
overnight at our hotel.
Day
03, Sunday: Dublin - Kilkenny - Waterford. Morning
departure from our hotel, we travel south to Kilkenny where we have some time to stroll this ancient
city. Shop, browse or visit Kyteler's Inn, the oldest pub in Kilkenny. Visit Kilkenny
Castle, home of the Butler
Clan. Mid-afternoon departure for nearby Waterford, arriving at our hotel at
approximately 4:00 p.m. Dinner and overnight in Waterford.
Day
04, Monday: Waterford -
Blarney -
Killarney. Morning
visit to the world famous Waterford Crystal Factory. Leaving Waterford, we travel south
to Cork and
Blarney.
Visit Blarney Woollen Mills for optional shopping for knitwear, tweeds, crystal
and china. Enjoy a pub lunch on your own. Continue over the Cork and Kerry mountains
to Killarney for dinner and overnight. Optional pub entertainment
tonight.
 Day 05, Tuesday: Ring of Kerry.
Today, we
depart on one of Ireland's
most popular and beautiful drives, the Ring of Kerry. Traveling from Killarney
we come to the town of Killorglin, famous for
“Puck Fair,” and from here we commence the ring tour. Our drive is along the
coastline of the broad Iveragh Peninsula,
through the towns of Glenbeigh, Cahirciveen, Waterville and Sneem.
The scenery is spectacular as wind-swept cliffs, still lakes, lost valleys and
rocky mountains blend in awesome beauty. As one looks around it is easy to agree
with the old Irish saying, “Even if a man has only a small bit of earth here, he
has a lot of the heavens.” From Sneem, we continue via ???Ladies View” back to
Killarney. Dinner and overnight at our Killarney hotel.
Day
06, Wednesday: Killarney - Limerick - Kildare - Dublin. Morning
departure from Killarney. We travel via County Limerick and
across the midland's through County Offaly to
Dublin via Kildare.
Check into our Dublin hotel.
Mid-afternoon and evening our free to enjoy the capital city. Overnight in
Dublin.
Day
07, Thursday: Dublin Airport -
U.S. After
break fast we have a morning departure for Dublin Airport, where our tours ends at
approximately 7:40 a.m. Ample time al lowed for last minute duty-free shopping
be fore boarding our flight home. We arrive back in the U.S.
the same day.
